Here are a few of the questions we’re asked most often. If you have one that isn’t answered here, please email us. We look forward to hearing from you.
How can I become a member at Crosstowne?
We believe that if you call Crosstowne your church home and are involved in serving Christ then you ARE a member. We offer many resources to help you find your place at Crosstowne.
Why don’t you pass the offering plate?
We don’t “take” an offering at Crosstowne. Giving back to God through tithe and offering is an act of worship to God. We have boxes located at each entrance at the church and an option to give online through our website for giving.
How do I get involved?
We have many ways to get involved at Crosstowne. One of those ways is to attend our Missio Dei small group where you can learn what it means to “be the sending of God” into your home, communities and world. We also list ongoing opportunities to get involved, volunteer and participate in our bulletin, website and weekly emails. To receive more information, please email us at crosstownechurch@gmail.com.
How do I get involved in a Journey Group
Small Groups are where people can really connect in authentic community. We have great people who are committed to leading groups and helping others along their own spiritual journeys. To get involved in a Journey Group, visit the Information Counter at Crosstowne or for a list of current Journey Groups check out our “The Journey” page.
Should I be baptized and does Crosstowne offer baptism?
At Crosstowne we believe that baptism is not only a command of Christ, but an amazing privilege. In baptism, we make a public confession of our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ—in His death, burial and resurrection, and are proclaiming publicly of our desire to Him. We have congregational baptisms semi-annually in February (Superbowl Sunday) and September (2nd Sunday).
How do we get married at Crosstowne?
Congratulations on your engagement! Our wedding process takes about 3 months to complete. During that time you will meet with one of our pastors for counseling and assessments to help you both prepare for marriage. To begin the process, contact Kandy Akery at Crosstowne (843)852-0284 to set up an appointment.
